YORAM ZERBIB

Yoram Zerbib – Israeli guitarist.
His main teachers were Prof. Joseph Urshalmi in Israel and the Spanish maestro Alberto Ponce in France where he completed his studies at the “Ecole Normale de Musique de Paris – Alfred Cortot” (Diplôme Supérieur d’Exécution).
In 1992 he won the first prize at the International Guitar Festival competition held in Tel Aviv and some other prices including Bartoli (France) and Alessandria (Italy) competitions.
Since 2002 he teaches the classical guitar at the Jerusalem Music and Dance Academy and from 2018 he serves as the head of the string department.
In parallel with his pedagogical activity, he manages an international career that includes master classes, recitals and playing solo with orchestras.
